The MSI MEG Z890 ACE is the flagship of this lineup — an enthusiast ATX motherboard for Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors on LGA 1851. It is designed for users who want maximum connectivity, storage and overclocking headroom: four DDR5 slots up to 256GB with memory overclocking up to 9200+ MT/s.
Power delivery is built for demanding CPUs, with a 24+2+1+1 Duet Rail design using 110A power stages, dual 8-pin CPU connectors and an extra 8-pin PCIe connector. A premium Frozr cooling design helps keep the VRM stable.
Connectivity is the real showpiece: two Thunderbolt 4 ports (up to 40Gbps, 15W charging and daisy-chaining), Marvell 10Gbps LAN, Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7 (up to 5.8Gbps) and Bluetooth 5.4. USB is almost limitless — 11 USB 10Gbps Type-A and 2 Type-C ports on the rear alone — plus a 20Gbps front Type-C header.
Storage includes five M.2 slots (PCIe 5.0 x4 and PCIe 4.0 x4 options, with M.2_4 switchable to PCIe 5.0 by BIOS) and four SATA ports. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC4082 with an ESS ES9219Q DAC/headphone amp and optical S/PDIF out. Ideal for flagship gaming, 4K/8K video editing, streaming and high-end workstation builds.
